Site Update: Privacy Policy & Accessibility Improvements

Thanks to feedback from our early users since launch, I’ve made some important updates to OM Color Lab.

Privacy Policy Update
I’ve expanded the Privacy Policy with full CCPA/CPRA compliance for California residents. This includes a clear breakdown of what data is collected (presented in an easy-to-read table), how long it’s retained, and your rights to access, delete, or correct your information. Your personal data is not sold or shared. You can find the updated policy in the About dropdown in the main navigation.

Accessibility Improvements
I’ve done a pass across the entire site to meet WCAG AA accessibility standards. Key improvements include better color contrast ratios, keyboard navigation support with visible focus indicators, screen reader enhancements (skip-to-content link, proper ARIA labels on forms and navigation), and a prefers-reduced-motion option for users sensitive to animations.

• PEN E-P7 compatibility — I’m testing recipe extraction and upload support for Olympus PEN E-P7 users. Stay tuned.
• Google login — I’m looking into adding Google sign-in so you can log in without creating a separate account.
